Start your day right with a filling, sustainable and nutritious breakfast. Last week we made this delicious Quinoa Breakfast Porridge which is super high in protein and so many other nutrients. Can be served hot or cold.
To make:
1. Rinse uncooked Quinoa
2. Cook quinoa on stovetop with coconut milk, water, cinnamon, nutmeg
3. Once cooked serve immediately with coconut yoghurt, fresh berries, banana, other fresh fruit, hemp seeds and chia seeds.
4. Drizzle with a little maple syrup or brown sugar. You may need to add a little almond or coconut milk on top.
***you can chill the quinoa and serve cold as a quinoa breakfast pudding or dessert. Also makes a nice bircher style porridge when soaked overnight with nuts, dried fruit, coconut yoghurt and a little orange juice.
