The Full Moon is a time to get honest about what is not working in your life so that you can bring closure to all that no longer serves you. It is that space just before you exhale, a time of letting go and releasing, where you can shed anything getting in the way of your best self.
It is the time to let go and release all that is holding you back so that you can create the space to step into the new chapter of your life. It is a time to look deep within and get honest about who you are, what you want and what's holding you back. What is stopping you from stepping into the most fantastic authentic version of yourself? What is blocking you from listening to your intuition, internal wisdom and higher self? What needs to change, what needs to go, and where does the inner work need to be directed.

The 28-day Moon cycle holds within it the opportunity to create vision, set and manifest goals, process what you have learned, and then go inward in order to repeat the cycle again. Whilst the new moon is a time to set intentions for the future and launch new projects
The full moon is a time of celebration, fulfillment, and gratitude. Even if you haven’t reached your goals, the full moon invites you to pause and celebrate all of the abundances you do have in your life. This meditation has been created to do on a full moon.
During the full Moon phase, you will reap the rewards of your hard work and dedication you have put forth since the beginning of the cycle. The full Moon is filled with abundance, manifestation, and wish-fulfillment.
Your dreams are filled with insight and messages when the Moon’s energy is at its strongest. Practicing meditation during a full moon helps you connect to your intention and intuition. The full moon is also the most energetically charged moon phase making it the perfect time for any releasing and letting go. For once the full moon arrives, the waning or the decreasing moon phase then begins. And as the moon wanes, it invites u to let go and release all that no longer serves u
Take a few moments to get comfortable, you may want to sit upright or laydown. If possible, do this meditation in a spot outside or inside beside a window where you can see the light of the full moon shining brightly. Sit or lay tall. Straighten your spine and if it is comfortable have palms facing upwards. I will give you a few moments to settle in.
Close your eyes. Taking a deep breath in. And in your own time exhaling completely.
Take a moment to bring your awareness to the fact that tonight you lay or sit under a full moon. Rest your hands comfortably by your side – with your palms facing up - opening the body up to receiving the healing, uplifting and re-energising energy from the moon tonight.
As you celebrate the magnificence of the moon in its fullness, take a moment to express your gratitude for all of life’s blessings. Take time to acknowledge your achievements, your successes and your personal growth.
Imagine that you are outside in one of your favorite places to star gaze on a clear night. Are you in your own back yard, at the beach, on top of a mountain, by a creek or some other beloved place? Above you sits the full Moon, the sky is clear and you can see the whole bright moon resting in its blanket of stars.
Gaze at the moon in the sky, notice the silvery colour that the moon’s reflected light casts on everything around you. Feel the moon's beams fill your body. From the crown of your head all the way down to your toes. Imagine the moonlight filling you up and purifying your body, mind, and spirit.
Bring your awareness to your third-eye, the point between your eyebrows and imagine the moons healing light shining here. The moonlight shines within you and radiates out from your third eye.
Bring attention to the palms of your hands. Imagine more moonlight shining and radiating from the palms.
Then bring attention to the arches of your feet; imagine more moonlight is nestled there.
Bring your attention to all five points – the third eye, both palms of your hands, and both soles of your feet - they are all glowing with soft moonlight. The light is connecting at all five points. Imagine that this light now connects you to the moon in tonight’s sky.
Breathing in deeply. Settle into the stillness. Find a sense of peace. As your entire being radiates with lunar energy.
Inhaling deeply. Exhaling completely. Say to yourself “ I am grateful for all that has come, and all that is still coming to me”
Take a moment to get quiet within, turn inward and reflect on this mantra.
Again, reflecting on the words - “ I am grateful for all that has come, and all that is still coming to me”
Start sending each inhale deep into your belly. Begin extending your inhales, and your exhales. Visualize the bright white light of the full moon bathing you in sparkling white light.
Bring something to mind that you’re grateful for. Allow yourself to experience your gratitude fully. Continue bringing things to mind that you are grateful for. We will take a moment to sit in this ocean of gratitude.
Now Imagine reaching your hands up toward the Moon. Holding the moon, you gently bring it towards your heart. Does it feel heavy or light? Do you feel the texture of the craters? Is it warm or cool to the touch? Does it feel loving?
The Moon that you hold represents all aspects of your being. Both the things that you reveal to others, and the things that you hide within the shadows. First gaze at the side of the Moon that we always see from earth. The side that shows the face of the ‘Man in the Moon’. How many times have you gazed at this side of the Moon over the years and bathed in its reflected light?
This bright side represents the face that you show to the outside world, your personality, your appearance, how you relate to your friends, family, and colleagues. Does this side of yourself seem difficult to maintain or is it easy to share yourself freely with the world? Do you show up in the world with authenticity? Are you living your truth. Explore this without any judgment.
Now turn the Moon over in your hands to see the side that we never see from earth – the dark side of the Moon. The surface of this side of the moon is completely new to you. What do you see? Are there large craters or mountains? Maybe Vast fields of moon rocks?
This shadow side of the Moon represents your shadow self, the aspects of your personality that are hidden. Look within toward anything that you may have rejected about yourself. Notice the parts of yourself where you don’t show up authentically in the world. Are there habits that you would like to get rid of? Old emotional patterns that arise when you least expect them?
Take a moment to reflect on what you are hiding from the world. What would you release from your shadow self and bring into the light? Be open to messages revealed by your intuition knowing that you are safe along this journey; stay connected to your sense of self-compassion.
Image the shadowy side of the Moon gradually becoming brighter and less hidden as you hold it within your hands. It is safe for you to let go of the darker parts of your personality and bring them into the healing glow of the light. It is safe to drop the armour and show up in the world as the true authentic you. This is a gradual process that often begins with simple awareness. Do not feel rushed to expose anything that you are not ready to explore but aim to take a small step towards healing part of your shadow so that you feel more connected to your highest self and most authentic self.
Turn the Moon partly over so that half the Moon is in light and half is in shadow. Keep turning the Moon in your hands to gaze at it from all angles, even from the top and the bottom, seeing both the familiar bright side and the dark side at the same time.
We all hold both light and shadow within ourselves and bringing the shadow self into the light is a necessary step for growth and healing.
When you are ready, silently thank the Moon for its wisdom and offer it back up into the night sky where it nestles within the deep blanket of stars. Take a look around you now, where are you? Are you in the same place you imagined before? Has anything about the scene changed?
You see the light of the moon and the shadows that the moon makes on the ground all around you. Find a comfortable place to lay back and rest. You are feeling fully supported by the earth beneath you. You are suspended between the earth and the moon, perfectly balanced in this moment.
Feel the Moon’s cool glow permeate through your clothes and deep into your bones. This healing light is absorbed into each and every cell of your body. You begin to notice that this lunar energy concentrates in five points; at your third eye point, in the receptive palms of both your hands, and in the arches of both your feet.
The light both shines into these areas and out from these areas at the same time.
As you continue to bathe in the lunar glow make a commitment to retain the experience of absorbing any messages you received from your intuition during your journey with the moon.
Taking in a deep inhale – breathe in healing white light from the moon. Exhaling completely – slowly letting go of all that no longer serves you.
Again, inhale the healing white moon light Exhaling – letting go.
Rest under the moonlight. Rest in stillness.
Gently bring your awareness to the sounds and smells of the room around you.
Begin to wiggle your toes allowing the moon light to dissipate, wiggle your fingers allowing the glow in your palms to release.
Allow the eyes to open gently – keeping a soft gaze - and imagine the third eye light softening and releasing.
Turn your head from side to side and move the body in any way that feels natural.
Bring your hands to prayer in front of your chest. Gently tilt your chin and bring your forehead towards your fingers. Take a gentle bow and Salute the moon in the night sky.
