Tune in. Breathe. Let the journey begin to reconnect with your inner state of calm.

Be kind to your mind and body. Take a few quiet moments each day to slow down, breathe and check-in with yourself.  With all the distractions, stress and noise of the modern world, it is becoming ever increasingly hard these days to feel a sense of calm, peace and serene within unless we make a mindful choice to create calm habits within our daily life.

Our meditations are nourishment for the mind, body and spirit; inviting you to slow down, discover and connect with a deeper meaning of the world around you. Every Sunday a new meditation is released where there are plenty of tracks to help you find your happy from meditations, sleep stories, mindful exercises and soundscapes.

Gratitude For The Breath Meditation

Gratitude For The Breath Meditation

There is great healing and power to be found in breathing, gratitude and sitting in stillness.

As we rush about our busy lives, we forget to stop and appreciate the gift of the breath and the gift of life itself.

This guided meditation will bring you into a place of stillness, enabling you to have a deep respect and appreciation for this moment, for your breathe and for your life.

"Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure." ~Oprah Winfrey

We have all been breathing our entire live's, but it’s only when we stop and take the time to truly breathe: slowly, mindfully and gratefully that we find great inner peace in the power of "just being".

Sitting in a space of having a deep appreciation for "just being" is truly a transformative experience.

Even better, gratitude has been scientifically proven to strengthen your immune system, make you happier and bring about a deep sense of inner peace.

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to this guided meditation session. Sit or lay comfortably in a quiet place with your spine straight... Relax your shoulders, your belly and your thighs... Move ever so gently so that your head and your shoulders are aligned directly over your hips.

Close your eyes. Relax your forehead, cheeks and jaw.

Take a deep breath in. And slowly exhale.

Feel the connection between to the ground below you.  As you breathe gently in through your nose, allow yourself to soften, relax and settle into this space.

Breathing in, feeling more and more grounded.

Visualise yourself growing tree roots and becoming anchored to ground below you.

With this rooting down, notice the energy you receive back from the earth... Feel how your connection to the support underneath you helps you feel tall, awake, and alive... Feeling grounded and supported.

Breathing in deeply, remain connected to both the body and the breath... Aware of body and breath.  As you fall deeper and deeper into relaxation feel how the body seemingly breathes by itself... Notice the rise and fall of your body as the breathe moves through your body...

The breath is life. The breath gives live. The breath is your life.

Soften into a deep feeling of gratitude for your body and for your breath... Sense your heart opening to the miracle that is your body... Recognize all the wonderful ways in which it functions... And all the amazing ways in which it allows you to connect with your world.

Breathing into your heartspace. Feel your heart soften and open to the miracle that is your breath... Feel a deep sense of gratitude as you experience this present moment awareness, recognizing how precious and how extraordinary your breath and your body are...

Feel your body softening, and opening into this awareness... Feel all tension releasing from your forehead, your shoulders, your belly, and your thighs...

Connecting with the breath,  and as you breathe in soften the mouth and bring a gentle smile to the lips... Notice how the body reacts to this soft smile. Breathing in allow yourself to turn towards that feel-good sensation. It may feel as happiness, as joy, as inner contentment or as peace ...

Breathing mindfully and slowly, sit with it for a few moments... Hold your soft inner smile, and allow yourself to explore deeper within... Look for things to have gratitude for. The simple things like clean air, a safe space, enough food. Notice what arises...

This sensation of gratitude is available to you at anytime you need to come back to it... Doing something as simple as sitting still, watching and noticing. This deep feeling of openness and gratitude is what remains when you’re nowhere other than present and mindfull, in the here and now.

Anytime you’d like to come back to this feeling... All you need to do is to pause for a moment, connect back with your body and breath and evoke these feelings of gratitude and contentment.

Taking in a long deep inhale, acknowledge the ease, the spaciousness... Acknowledge the gratitude and awe... Acknowledge your inner smile, and the sensation of joy. Get to know gratitude in this moment... And make a promise to remember it... To turn towards it, and to cultivate it in your daily life, and make room for it in your meditation and mindfulness practice.

As we come to the end of today’s practice, say ‘thank you’ to yourself. Thank yourself for taking the time to practice, to have this intimate space to dedicate to yourself...

Taking a couple of slow deep breaths in bring your attention back to the room around you.  Bring some gentle movement to your body. Maybe wiggle your fingers and toes. Roll your shoulders.

Inhale deeply…exhale completely…

Bring your palms together and notice how you feel.. … bow to this moment… bow to this moment of gratitude…

Gently open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me for today’s gratitude meditation. Until next week May you be calm, happy and authentic. May you live your life with ease. Namaste.
