Take a few quiet moments each day to slow down, breathe and check-in with yourself.  With all the distractions, stress and noise of the modern world, it is becoming ever increasingly hard these days to feel a sense of calm, peace and serene within unless we make a mindful choice to create calm habits within our daily life.

Thank you for joining me for a meditation. In today’s meditation we will take a journey together where we will connect with the higher self,  the universe and a spirit guide to seek what we need – whether that be wisdom, inspiration, love, support or guidance.

Take a moment to find yourself a comfortable position – that can be sitting up or laying down.

Close your eyes. Take a long deep breath in and a long slow exhale out.

Relax your scalp, forehead, cheeks and jaw. Bring a soft gentle smile to your mouth.

Relax your neck and shoulders, allowing anything that feels heavy to simply soften and melt away. This moment is for you. Put aside any burdens, worries, commitments or to-do lists. Right now, the focus is you.

Connecting to your breath soften your heart, back, arms, wrists and fingers.

Let your breathing be felt in the heart.

Feel yourself begin to relax. Feel yourself become present.

Taking a deep breath in drop your awareness down to your stomach, hips and thighs. Feel the tension slowly melt away. You are feeling more lighter within.  

Move your awareness to your knees, calves, ankles and feet. Softening and relaxing.

You are becoming present. Getting out of your head and into your body.

On the next inhale move your awareness to the base of your spine or the root chakra. Visualise a red light circulating around your root chakra. A beautiful red light that is grounding you. This beautiful red light is your connection to mother earth. Swirling around the base of your spine. Breathing into this chakra, you are feeling grounded and secure in mind and body

Now move your awareness to below your navel – your second chakra – the sacral chakra. A beautiful orange colour is swirling around this chakra. It is the seed of your emotions. A beautiful orange, circulating glow. You feel emotionally balanced and satisfied. You have healthy boundaries. You are emotionally strong and resilient, yet kind and gentle. You always honour others but not at the expense of your own well-being.

Taking a deep breath in move up to the space between your waist and your heart – this is your solar plexus chakra which represents personal power, self-worth and authenticity. Visualise a yellow light circulating in this area. Radiating a bright yellow, it continues to circle and expand,  inviting you to feel good about you. Gently reminding you that self-love starts when you accept all parts of yourself.

Moving up to the heart chakra. A Beautiful green light. Centring and circulating. Bringing energy in to your body and emitting energy out into the world around you. As the green light of the heart chakra circles it also is expanding. Getting bigger and bigger. As the green glowing light expands you also are expanding. You are expanding out into the universe. As you expand feel yourself get lighter and more open to the world around you. You are becoming connected to your own true nature and to the world around you.

Settle into the stillness. You are feeling relaxed and at peace. You are moving into your higher self. You are connecting with the universe. You are connecting to that place of stillness within - where all the wisdom and knowledge you need is available to you.   

You are open to receiving guidance.

When we open ourselves up to guidance it is importance we do so with truth, compassion and the highest good for all.

Take a few deep cleansing breathes in and on the exhale breathe out anything that no longer serves you -  preparing your heart, mind, body and soul to receive.

Breathing in, visualise a forest of trees. The trees have grown in harmony with each other, creating a beautiful green tunnel or archway that leads to a place unknown. Look up and notice how the branches of the trees are reaching for each other, creating a beautiful green archway.  The tops of the trees are kissing the trees next to them. Before you stands a beautiful green archway tunnel.

The entrance to this archway is radiating warmth, love and protection. It is inviting you to come walk within. As you start to walk under the trees you notice that the tunnel is bathed in a golden nurturing light. You feel safe. You feel loved.

In the distance ahead, you see an animal. What animal do you see? What animal do you sense? What animal do you hear? If you don’t see, sense or hear an animal then what animal first comes to your mind? How does this animal make you feel? Let this animal come up towards you. There features becoming clearer. The feelings they bring out in you becoming stronger.

You take a moment to connect with them as they get close. There is a white light flowing from your heart to theirs. And from their heart to yours.

This animal is your animal spirit guide and it has showed up today to meet with you.  Now is your chance to ask them anything you want. Ask them for guidance. Ask them what message they have for you.

They are there for you. Ask them anything.

The answers will appear in pictures, sounds, a voice, a thought, a deep knowing. Maybe you have an idea or flash of inspiration. Whatever drops into your imagination, mind or deep knowing is guidance that is passed on to you.

Take a moment to be present and feel the energy, wisdom and inspiration.

Say thank you to this animal. Know that you can come back and reconnect anytime.

Breathing slowly and mindfully, bring your awareness back into your body.

Bring your attention to your Throat chakra. Visualise a beautiful blue light radiating from your throat -  inviting you to always speak with truth and compassion. Gently reminding you to choose to speak your truth always, even in the difficult conversations. Never be silent or allow yourself to be silenced for what you have to say matters – you matter.

Moving up to the 6th chakra – between the eyebrows is the third eye. A purple radiating light is inviting you to trust  your Intuition and the wisdom and opportunities that arise. Trust that  you have divine guidance available to you – you just have to connect and ask. As the purple light radiates bigger and brighter you are becoming more open to exploring what cannot be seen.

Take a deep breath in and move to the  7th chakra – the Crown chakra. As the crown chakra opens up, radiating a beautiful violet light allow all the wisdom, inspiration and support that showed up for you today to become your truth.

The seventh chakra – your divine source and divine force – it is connecting you and expanding you. Filling you with light, inner peace and inner wisdom. You are a vessel for love and light.

Take a deep breath in. Feel the divine energy coursing through you. The golden light of the divine energy is bathing you in its healing light – activating you, inspiring you, reminding you, inviting you to connect with your higher self. It is encouraging you to follow-up and take action on what has shown up today for you.

Connecting with your breath, visualise all the colours of the 7 chakras becoming bigger as they radiate and illuminate with more light. A beautiful rainbow of light is now radiating from your entire body.

Bringing your attention to the crown of your head visualise a rain of light slowly making its way down your body. Ending in your feet. Reconnecting you with mother earth, your higher self and your own inner knowing.

Take a few minutes to breathe in all that light. Welcome in any thoughts, feelings,

images, sounds, inspiration. And so long as it feels good trust what comes up for you.

Rest in this space of stillness and peace.

Breathing in take a moment to express gratitude for all the guidance you have received. Set the intention to stay connected and open to guidance all throughout the day.

Slowly begin to bring your awareness to you physical body. To the sounds around you.

Bring some gentle movement to your body – maybe wiggle your fingers or your toes.

Open your eyes.
